My day started off really really happy yesterday when my friend, Alexis, called and said she had a CMA ticket for me and to be at her house at 4PM in time to catch our limo downtown. Are you kidding? I pinched myself, then I rearranged my plans with kids(thanks to Betty and Shellye), and I showed up in style to walk down the red carpet and pretend like I was famous!! Alexis brought 2 of her sweet girls, and I was a little out of place with these three beautiful blondes. When I asked Alexis how she pulled this whole evening off, she said, "Honey, I got friends in high places." The night was a blast, and it was one I will never forget. Unfortunately, my blackberry missed several great shots, but here are a few. From Blake Shelton, to "Modern Family" star Eric Stonestreet, the list goes on and on.
