I am finally telling about our Thanksgiving adventures. I am wishing I could go back a week ago and relive it. The weather put the icing on the cake. When we arrived at Bet Bet and Snacks home in Memphis, the kids ran to hug their cousins and played happily outside all day the 2 days we were there. From hide and seek, games of chase, bonfire marshmallow roasting, swimming in the hot tub, lots of eating, playing in the mud, and kickball in Carole's yard...to collapsing into bed at night, it will be a Thanksgiving I won't ever forget.
On Friday after Thanksgiving we drove to Jackson, TN, where the weather stayed perfect for us, and the cousin time was also a blast. We combine Thanksgiving and Christmas at this time every year since it is too hard for everyone to travel twice in one month to be together. My cousins, aunts, and uncles are the funnest, most laid back, most loving people to be with, and I just feel blessed! Nothing better than family!!!
